After a long day of exploring Shibuya, Ikebukuro, Akihabara, and a few other places around Tokyo, we were wandering around looking for food and found an okonomiyaki shop! We got the Hiroshima-yaki and a scallion filled okonomiyaki. The Hiroshima-yaki had the typical okonomiyaki batter with quite a bit of yakisoba noodles, cabbage, and bean sprouts. The other savory pancake just replaced with the noodles with a ton of green onions so that's quite nice.
It makes me miss the okonomiyaki I had in Kobe. The first pancake had too many noodles so the seasoning was just okay and the seafood and cabbage were sort of buried. The other pancake had too overpowering of a shrimp flavor but the crust from letting the pancake sit there was quite nice so I'm sort off torn. I think I need to visit the Kansai area to experience great okonomiyaki again....
